In 2011, Mr Ian Davies and Mrs Louise Ward took over the practice and initiated several important changes. The team regularly attends training in various aspects of clinical dentistry, striving to improve their knowledge and skills to deliver the best possible care. We believe that prevention is key, and we are committed to helping you understand and maintain your oral health.

As members of the British Dental Association Good Practice Scheme, we have received an excellent Care Quality Commission report. Your feedback is important to us, and we have implemented the "Friends and Family Test" to facilitate open communication. Our Team

The staff at Grange Road Dental Practice is a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about dentistry and committed to excellence. Our principal dentist, Mr Ian Davies (GDC No. 74386), was born in Glasgow and raised in Lanark. He moved to Newcastle in 1993 for his dental training, gaining valuable experience in a variety of specialised areas. Ian has been a part of Grange Road Dental Practice since 1998 and became a business partner with Louise Ward in 2011.

Ian is a member of the South Tyneside Oral Health Improvement Group, committed to improving the oral health of Jarrow and its surrounding communities. Additionally, he works with NHS England and delivers lectures on dental photography. Our team is eager to meet you and provide exceptional dental care tailored to your needs.
